Gatunek ten miał licznych reprezentatów, z których najbardziej znani są artyści tacy jak: 2 Unlimited, Dr.Alban, Mr. President, Masterboy, DJ Bobo, Vengaboys, Alexia, La Bouche, Fun Factory, Culture Beat, Snap!, John Scatman i dziesiątki innych.
